29 CFR 1910.30(a)(3)(ii): 29 CFR 1910.30(a)(3)(ii):The employer did not train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize fall hazards. a) Tire Warehouse Bins: On September 28, 2022 and at times prior to; Hyster R30XMS2 order picker operators unclipped from their PFAS to move tires into position on elevated product pallets up to 14.6 feet in height. Lanyard length did not allow for employees to move between tire racks to select tires for customer orders, and a procedure for installing and reinstalling the lanyard in order to move between bins had not been adequately implemented. Employees have not been adequately trained to connect and disconnect between tire bins. Note* Abatement certification AND documentation are required for this item.
