Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On or about September 15, 2022 at a jobsite located at 13756 County Line Rd., Newark, IL 6541. Employees working at heights were not trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with a fall, exposing the employees to falls in excess of 10 feet. The exposed employees were engaged in new residential framing construction on the roof installing decking at a height in excess of 10 feet. Employees were not trained to recognize the fall hazard and when the use of PFAS are required.
