29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: (a) On or about June 27, 2022, near the east ridge of a building undergoing construction, where employees installed sheathing boards from a Genie S-65 Aerial Lift without being tied off. (b) On or about July 19, 2022, near the west ridge of a building undergoing construction, where an employee braced gable ends from a Genie S-65 Aerial Lift without having a lanyard attached to his body harness. The Texas Commercial Interiors LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1362044, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 8, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1201 Muirfield Bend Dr., Hutto, TX 78634.
