29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee shall receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. The employer does not protect each employee in its cleaning and sanitation work tasks from the machine hazards related to the control of hazardous energies by ensuring that each employee received authorized employee training to lockout equipment prior to starting work. This most recently occurred on or about 7/19/2022, at 3640 Muddy Creek Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Each authorized employee does not perform lockout and does not verify that hazardous energies are controlled for his/her personal protection during cleaning and sanitation work on their designated Cameron Seamers (Model # 216 & 226). The Zwanenberg Food Group (USA), Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1239986, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/17/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3640 Muddy Creek Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
