29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a) Worldwide Vintage Autos, LLC located at 4001 Forest St. Denver, CO 80216: On and before 3/22/2022, the employer failed to complete an assessment to determine the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) during vehicle maintenance and repair operations. Employees who regularly use the company's bench grinders and chemicals such as, but not limited to, PB Blaster and Loctite AA 312 when servicing vehicles were potentially exposed to hazards associated with flying sparks, noise, and irritations to the eye and skin when working with chemicals.
