29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(i): Portable cord- and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence for possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket). Warehouse Exterior Shed: On and or before March 03, 2022 the employer did not ensure the portable yellow/black flexible extension cord running from the gate electrical panel to the wood shed was inspected for external defects in that the cord had damage to the outer jacket and was deformed. Employee(s) were exposed to electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s).
