29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting: A. Packaging Room, Finish end of Babbco Oven: On, or about, March 27, 2022, rotating horizontal shafts on the following equipment was not guarded to protect against accidental contact: 1. Drive shaft located at the start end of the vibratory table that moved product from the oven conveyor to the "mixer/beater" unit. 2. Three drive shafts located on the side of the "mixer/beater" unit that de-clumped product. B. Packaging Room, Marion Mixer "Oatmeal Mixer": The drive shaft for the mixer was not guarded to protect against accident contact.
