29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a. On or about October 25, 2021, at 545 Sutton Place, Longboat Key, Florida, employees who were exposed to electrocution hazards when they were not trained and familiar with work practices such as, but not limited to, handling conductive objects such as an aluminum extension ladder within the Minimum Approach Distance of 10 feet of/ the Minimum Approach Distance of energized overhead power lines at 7,620-volts.
