29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a. On or about October 25, 2021, at 545 Sutton Place, Longboat Key, Florida, employees who were not qualified persons were exposed to electrocution hazards when they were not trained and familiar with work practices such as, but not limited to, handling conductive objects such as an aluminum extension ladder within the Minimum Approach Distance of 10 feet for energized overhead power lines at 7,620-volts.
