29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a. The employer fails to ensure a training program as demonstrated on or about 10/16/2021, at Lot #4 James Taylor Road, Moody, Alabama where employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet while installing roofing materials without the use of a fall protection system. To abate this hazard, the employer must train employees to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the measures it is taking to ensure compliance, including documentation that employees have been trained. Vicente Olmas Gayosso dba Vicente Olmas Gayosso was previously cited for a second repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1542443, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on 09/21/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 345 Taylors Way, Moody, AL.
