29 CFR 1910.333(c)(2): The employer did not ensure that qualified persons were capable of working safely on energized circuits and were familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools: a) ConAm Management Corporation, Chestnut Ridge Apartments, 3655 South Verbena Street, Denver, CO 80237: On and about September 10, 2021, the employer authorized unqualified employees to work near and around machinery, which had not been de-energized. While in the process of assessing the timer on the (Kenmore) washing machine, an untrained employee removed the faceplate of the machinery. As he leaned forward to look at the internal wiring, the employee was exposed to an electrical hazard when his necklace inadvertently contacted the live electrical wiring.
