29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: (a) On or about 05/25/2021 - Burndy, at the Bridgeport Milling Machine, employees were exposed to caught by hazards at the point of operation because the safety interlock guard could to be opened 13 inches before the safety interlock would activate and turn off the power, fully exposing the point of operation. (b) On or about 05/25/2021 - Burndy, at the Bridgeport Milling Machine, employees were exposed to caught by hazards at the point of operation because they could reach around the side guarded by location and access the point of operation.
