29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s) Location: 1045 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226; Roof a) On or about 05/12/2021 and thereafter, the employer did not ensure that a competent person inspected the jobsite, materials and equipment prior to employees demolishing the roof. A competent person did not inspect the roof, horizontal lifeline systems, and personal fall arrest system harnesses. Richmond Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1404693, Citation number 1, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/20/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 11 Bay 20th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11214.
