29 CFR 1926.652(g)(1)(iii): Employees were not protected from the hazard of cave-ins when entering or exiting the area protected by shields: a) North of the intersection of Piping Plover Drive and Widgeon Path, Millsboro, DE 19966: On or about 05/06/2021, the employer did not ensure employees were protected as required. Employees were exposed to sluffing of wet sand and potential cave ins as soon as they stepped out of the trench box approximately 12 foot deep.
