29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(i):The end of a platform 10 feet or less in length, extended over its support more than 12 inches: a. On or about March 3, 2021, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to falls while performing roofing operations from a ladder jack scaffold, approximately eighteen (18) feet five (5) inches above the ground, due to the walking platform exceeding 12 inches from the support bracket. Kevin Rodriguez dba KRA Construction was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.451(g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection 1452699, citation 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 10 Westlake Dr., South Barrington, IL 60010.
