29 CFR 1926.854(d):Structural or load supporting members on the floors below were cut and removed before the floors above were demolished and removed. Location - First Street Garage, Cambridge, MA. a) On or about March 3, 2021, concrete was chipped from the bottom and tops of stairwell platforms which compromised the integrity of the wedge anchors securing stairs to the platform. b) On or about March 3, 2021, horizontal supports in-between stair sections were removed, which compromised the integrity of each stair section.
