29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1):Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: a. On or about March 10, 2021, at the site located on SR 528 mile marker 11.8, employees installing a manhole in an excavation were exposed to a cave in hazards, in that; no adequate precautions were in place when accumulated water occupied the bottom of the excavation.
