29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): The employer failed to train employees on the physical, health, simple asphyxiation, combustible dust, and pyrophoric gas hazards, as well as hazards not otherwise classified, of the chemicals in the work area: a - On or about January 28, 2021, at the worksite Foundation Food Group, Inc., located at 2076 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, GA, at Plant 4, employees were exposed to asphyxiation hazards while performing sanitation activities as the employer did not ensure employees were trained on the physical and health hazards of refrigerants to include, but not limited to liquid nitrogen and anhydrous ammonia, as required by the hazard communication standard. Packers Sanitation Services, Inc. Ltd. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1237749, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/21/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 928 Martin Luther King Blvd., Nacogdoches, TX 75961.
