29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4): Industrial truck driver(s) were not required to slow down and sound the horn at cross aisles and wherever vision was obstructed: a.) Warehouse and Baler Room - On or about January 12, 2021, in the baler room, a forklift operator was involved in a near-miss accident when the employee failed to slow down while driving around an obstructed corner, nearly striking two pedestrians. The employer failed to ensure forklift operators were required to slow down wherever vision was obstructed, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
