29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): A.) Larry Bittner dba Bittner Roofing, 3603 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16508, on or about June 17, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were performing roofing activities on the roof of a wood-framed single family dwelling. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 10.4-feet, and were not utilizing acceptable means or methods of fall protection. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation. This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. IN ADDITION, abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic, or video evidence or abatement or other written records.
