29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): When portable ladders are used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access: 110 Lockhouse Rd., Westfield, MA: On or about February 4, 2020, two employees were using a ladder to reach their 2nd story work area which did not extend any distance past the upper landing surface. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
