29 CFR 1910.110(f)(4)(i): The quantity of LP-Gas stored shall not exceed 300 pounds (approximately 2,550 cubic feet in vapor form) except as provided in subparagraph (5) of this paragraph. a)New Angus, LLC dba DemKota Ranch Beef at 13 135th Street in Aberdeen, SD 57401: On or about and at times prior to January 27, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fire, explosion and pressurized chemicals hazards in that an excess of 300 lb of propane was stored inside the rendering and waste water treatment building. Two 100lb tanks, three 33lb tanks and three 25 lb tanks were stored inside the building, a total of 374lb. This condition exposed employees to fire, explosion and pressurized chemicals hazards. Abatement Note: 29 CFR 1910.110(f)(2)(v) Empty containers which have been in LP-gas service when stored inside, shall be considered as full containers for the purpose of determining the maximum quantity of LP-Gas permitted by this paragraph.
