29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): The employer is failing to assess employee exposures to carbon monoxide that, could cause serious illness. this was most recently documented on January 2, 2020 at 2525 S 135th Ave. Omaha, Nebraska. The employer failed to determine the necessity of personal protective equipment to ensure that employees were not exposed to harmful levels of Carbon Monoxide in the facility. This facility was using natural gas furnaces for heating that can produce Carbon Monoxide no Carbon Monoxide detectors were installed in the building.
