Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means. This violation occurred on or about November 13, 2019 at 15th St. and Broken Arrow Expressway, Tulsa, Oklahoma, the employer did not ensure the overhead power lines were deenergized or protected against contact prior to allowing a subcontractor to attempt to pump concrete into drill shafts. This exposed the employees of the employer to electrical hazards.
