29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1): The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces were permit-required confined spaces: a) Press area in Adam building; on August 20, 2019 and times prior the employer exposed employees to entrapment hazards by not evaluating the press pits to determine if they were permit required confined spaces. The pits are confined spaces with various safety hazards such as, but not limited to, amputation hazards, burn hazards, and slip/trip hazards.
