29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i)(C): Powered industrial truck operators did not receive initial training on truck controls and instrumentation where they were located, what they did, and how they worked: (a) On or about August 02, 2019 - Production area, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when powered industrial truck training did not include information specific to standup forklifts controls such as, but not limited to, how to stop the standup forklift by the use of plugging, how long it takes for the forklift to stop using plugging, how long it takes the forklift to stop by taking the left foot off of the brake spot on the floor, how long it takes to stop the forklift when activating the red power disconnect switch, and recognition that an unloaded truck will tip over to the side easier than a loaded truck with its load in the lowered position.
