29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about July 31, 2019, employees were potentially exposed to chemical burns caused by the corrosive chemical Auto-Chlor Solution QA while being required to sanitize equipment such as, but not limited to, the deli slicer in the Deli Department. The employer did not provided an adequate emergency eyewash and/or shower for quick drenching. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
