29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(v)(A): Until the employer performed an employee exposure assessment as required under 29 CFR 1926.62(d) and determined actual employee exposure, the employer did not provide to employees performing the tasks described in 29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(i), (d)(2)(ii), (d)(2)(iii), and (d)(2)(iv) with appropriate respiratory protection in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.62(f): Lead paint at Hilltop School- On or about June 21, 2019 employees performed manual demolition tasks with assumed level above the PEL. The employer failed to provide appropriate respiratory protection, in that, a. Employees were not medically evaluated for respirator wear b. Employees did not have there respirators fit tested prior to preforming these tasks; c. Employees had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece of the respirator and face; and d. There was no respirator training provided to employees.
