29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: (a) On or about April 10, 2019 and at times prior thereto employees were exposed to struck-by and trip and fall hazards while working in the storage room where merchandise in boxes was stacked up to 8 feet high and was not stacked, blocked, or interlocked to prevent them from falling onto or in the path of employees. NOTE-Abatement documentation and certification are required for this item. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1269761, citation number 1, item number 2A issued on June 14, 2018, and was affirmed as a final order on September 7, 2018 with respect to a workplace located at 1155 S Havana Street, Unit 23, Aurora, CO 80012. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 951864, citation number 2, item number 2 issued on June 4, 2014, and was affirmed as a final order on December 9, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2704 Brooks Street #A, Missoula, MT 59801.
