29 CFR 1910.333(c)(2): The employer did not ensure that qualified persons were capable of working safely on energized circuits and were familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools. a) Testing Booth - on or about March 28, 2019, an unqualified employee removed an energized 480 volt/ 200 AMP supply line from inside of a transformer with an uninsulated hand tool, exposing the employee to electrical hazards. b) Testing Booth - on or about March 28, 2019, employees performed electrical testing with the use of a Fluke 287 True RMS Meter on electrical circuits up to 480 Volts, but the employer did not ensure employees were qualified persons capable of working safely on energized circuits and were familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools.
