29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, the employer failed to report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. The employer failed to report the hospitalization of an employee within 24-hours as required. This was most recently documented on or about January 9, 2018 at Lowe's Home Improvement located at 6101 Apple Way in Lincoln, Nebraska. On January 3, 2019, an employee was hospitalized. Lowe's reported the incident to OSHA on January 9, 2018, six days after the initial hospitalization.
