29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: At a worksite located at 1220 NW Murphy Blvd, Joplin, Missouri. Employees were exposed to serious amputation, crushing and struck-by injuries, in that employees had not been trained to understand and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to safely lock and tag out the energy sources, including but not limited to the 1900 Mold machine pan pusher.
