29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: The employer is failing to ensure that all employees exposed to fall hazards while constructing a residential house are utilizing fall protection. This most recently occurred on October 3, 2018 on the jobsite located at 779 Southfork Rd., Blair, NE 68008. Three employees were standing on top of precast forms pouring concrete at heights greater than six feet above the ground and not utilizing any form of fall protection. An employee fell approximately eight feet from the precast form which was being used to create a window well and suffered injuries resulting in a hospitalization.
