29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii): Employees who participated as hazardous materials technicians, or were expected to participate as hazardous materials technicians, had not received at least 24 hours of training equal to the first responder operations level, and in addition have competency in the areas outlined in 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii)(A) through (q)(6)(iii)(I) and the employer did not so certify: Tyson Foods, Inc. - 1500 So. Plum Creek Parkway - Lexington, Nebraska 68850 - Employer failed to ensure that an employee engaged in an emergency response operation/hazmat operation received the training required by the standard and certified completion of the training. On or about September 4, 2018, a non-certified employee engaged in an emergency response operation entered the ammonia release area above the production floor and participated in shutting off the leak from a broken valve and gauge.
