29 CFR 1910.176(b): Storage was not secure. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. On or about August 8, 2018 and there prior to, the employer stacked pallets and boxes of parts on unstable dented storage racks in the storage areas of the South and North Plants, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from falling objects in the following areas: - a. Area 02 storage racks in the South Plant. b. The northwest storage racks at the North Plant workshop.
