29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about August 8, 2018 and times prior, the employer did not ensure that the following safety showers and/or eyewash stations were functioning properly and/or not obstructed for immediate emergency use: - a. The eyewash/safety shower station south of the small part department in the South Plant was blocked by a Tennant 5680 Scrubber/sweeper and boxes of parts on a wet floor. b. The eyewash/safety shower station by the battery charging station in the South Plant had no water pressure to flow and was later blocked by pallets of boxes. c. The employer did not have a standard eyewash/safety shower at the North Plant and an emergency eyesaline wall station in the maintenance shop was used continuously.
