OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that an employee was exposed to serious burns and emergency medical services were not immediately contacted. On or about 7/25/2018, the employer failed to call emergency medical services for an employee who sustained serious burns while trying to ignite a brush pile. The employer contacted a second crew who drove to the jobsite and then transported the injured employee to receive medical care.
