OSH ACT of 1970, Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from moving and rotating parts of a conveyor system: Comingle Sorting System: On, or about, July 10, 2018, the pre-start up alarm that had been provided on the system was not operating. FCR, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1)], which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1174976, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a Final Order on October 24, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at Hartford, Connecticut.
