Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii):The measures employees can take to protect themselves from these hazards, including specific procedures the employer has implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment to be used; and,: a) On or about March 29, 2018 the employer failed to train employees on the elements of a written hazard communication program including the hazards of the chemicals in their work area. Employees were exposed to hazards from carbon monoxide gas from the exhaust of a propane powered forklift used in the facility.
