29 CFR 1910.101(b) as required by 1960 (8): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: On or about March 13, 2018, in room D322, the employer did not ensure the Wesco CC-2 dual cylinder hand truck was utilized within the manufactures specified capabilities. Employee utilized the cart to move two argon cylinders weighing approximately 694 lbs. which exceeded the manufacturer's 500 lb. rating. As a result, an employee was exposed to struck-by/crushing hazards after the overloaded cart transporting the cylinders fell due the rear swivel caster carriage did not remain engaged.
