29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: (a) On or about 02/23/2018 - Steel Dust Recycling, LLC, 13209 Highway 96, Millport, Alabama, Kiln #3, employees wore 3M Model half-facepiece respirators when engaged in activities such as chipping of brick using the Brokk machine and guniting, as well as welding activities inside kilns. The employer failed to ensure employees were provided the information contained in Appendix D of the respiratory protection standard.
