29 CFR 1910.333(a): "General." Safety-related work practices shall be employed to prevent electric shock or other injuries resulting from either direct or indirect electrical contacts, when work is performed near or on equipment or circuits which are or may be energized. The specific safety-related work practices shall be consistent with the nature and extent of the associated electrical hazards. Entire Facility - the employer did not ensure that electrical safety-related work practices were employed to prevent electrocution, electrical shock, or other injuries when employees were performing maintenance operations on electrical systems. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards while troubleshooting and repairing cheese processing equipment. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
