29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances and chemical burns: The employer is failing to protect employees from chemical hazard exposure to their hands as associated with using a toxic chemical through spray application in the work place. The most recent occurrence of this was documented during the inspection on January 9, 2018 of the facility located at 103 West 3rd St. Imperial, NE where the employer has an ineffectively protected employee inured with 2nd degree chemical burns to both hands while using a highly toxic car wash cleaning product called Nu-Wall.
