Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001C Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(ii): The employer did not certify that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures had been performed: (a) Superior Farms, at 4900 Clarkson St., Denver, CO 80216: On and before December 14, 2017, the employer did not certify that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures had been performed. The employer operated several machines that are subject to lockout tagout procedures, such as, but not limited to, auto hoch cutters, bone dumpsters, multi-vac machines, cryovac machines, conveyors, pumps, and saws. The employer did not certify that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures had been performed. This condition exposed employees performing maintenance on these machines to laceration and amputation hazards.
