29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: a) R5 room: A staffing company employee slipped as he stepped from a ladder onto a floor wet with a mixture of water and a cleaning product later identified as Quorum Brown; the employee lay in the solution of cleaning product and water which increased the severity of the chemical burn. None of the responding managers or employees assisted the employee by rinsing the product from the injured employee. The training regarding emergency procedures was not effective, on or about December 1, 2017.
