Section 5(a)(1) of the OSHA Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each employee employment and a place of employment which was free from the recognized hazard. This violation was most recently observed on or about December 6, 2017, in the Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) Unit at United Initiators located in Helena, Arkansas where the employer did not verify potential accumulation of residual Di-benzoyl Peroxide prior to cutting of piping.
