29 CFR 1910.107(h)(12): Fire protection. All areas used for spraying, including the interior of the booth, were not protected by an automatic sprinklers or other approved automatic extinguishing equipment. a) Spray Paint Booth and Filter System: On or about September 28, 2017 and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards by not having sprinklers on the downstream and upstream side of the filters while performing powder spray finishing operations.
