29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a) Kev's Painting, 5220 Boardwalk Drive, Fort Collins, CO: On and prior to July 14, 2017, the employer did not ensure that a "competent" person made frequent inspections of the jobsite to ensure fall protection was used while employees worked on 6:12 sloped roofs. Five employees were standing on the first story roof while painting the second story exterior siding and trim on Buildings A and F without the use of fall protection. Condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the ground below.
