29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a) Wood Chipper; On or about June 26, 2017, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that employees were allowed to walk and work within two feet of unguarded rotating exposed chains and sprockets that were within 5 feet of the floor. b) Drying Oven (Big Coe); On or about June 26, 2017, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that employees were allowed to walk and work within two feet of unguarded rotating exposed chains and sprockets that were within 3 feet of the floor.
