Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.333(c0(2): Only qualified persons may work on electric circuit parts or equipment that have bot been deenergized under the procedures of paragraph (b) of this section. Such persons shall be capable of working safely on energized circuits and shall be familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools. On or about June 10, 2017, an employee was working on or near an exposed energized current that was contained in a large electrical cabinet located at 375 Victoria Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44515. The employee was not qualified person for working near high voltage as defined under 29 CFR 1910.399.
